Complaints Service

The Parent and Carer Alliance appreciate that making a complaint against a professional, organisation or service can be very daunting and it is often hard to know where to start.

Our aim is to develop a quality complaints service which endeavours to resolve issues whenever possible before the need to begin official complaints processes.

Complaints Advocate DUNCAN SIRET

 My name is Duncan Siret. I am a qualified and registered child care social worker (HCPC no. is SW40073).

I am recently retired after working 30 plus years for children’s services at Gloucestershire County Council. During that time I have worked in social work, in safeguarding and as a children’s services complaints manager, amongst other roles. Most recently I have been a Social Work Team Manager.

I therefore have a great deal of experience about the how children’s social work operates (including safeguarding). I also have a lot of experience working with schools, health services and other agencies.

I see my role of a parent and carer advocate in the widest possible sense, I can offer you advice, support and advocacy in whatever agency or procedure you are having difficulty with. There will be no charge for the first telephone consultation.
