Parent and Carer Alliance C.I.C. Attendance & Cancellation Policy for Support Service Calls and Appointments 1. General Terms • The Parent and Carer Alliance C.I.C. (the Alliance) reserves the right to alter or reschedule Support Service Calls and Appointments when necessary, due to unforeseen circumstances. • We retain the right to decline bookings for our services. All decisions will comply fully with the Equality Act 2010, ensuring no discriminatory practices. • In the interest of safety, comfort, and well-being of all participants, the Alliance reserves the right to ask any individual to leave an activity, social event, or support meeting if deemed appropriate. 2. Accessibility, Inclusion, and Safeguarding • The Alliance is committed to ensuring accessibility and fostering inclusion, in alignment with the Equality Act 2010 and its Public Sector Equality Duty. We strive to ensure that all participants, regardless of background or ability, can engage meaningfully with our services. • Accessibility planning is informed by our Safeguarding Policy, recognising that inclusive environments are essential for promoting the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. Reasonable adjustments will be made wherever possible to protect and support individuals in line with best safeguarding practice. • It is the participant’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of all booking confirmation details. • Discrepancies should be reported to: admin@parentandcareralliance.org.uk 4. Cancellation by Participants • If you are unable to attend your scheduled Support Service Call or Appointment, please notify us at the above email with as much notice as possible. • Minimum notice of 24 hours is requested to allow your space to be offered to another family in need of support. • Failure to provide timely cancellation may result in reduced service access in future scheduling cycles (subject to discretion). 5. Cancellation by the Alliance • In the unlikely event that the Alliance must cancel a scheduled service, all affected participants will be notified no less than 24 hours in advance, where possible. • If feasible, an alternative date or rescheduling option will be provided. 6. Confidentiality • All information shared during Support Service Calls, Appointments, and related correspondence shall be treated as confidential by the Alliance. • We will not disclose personal or sensitive information to third parties without explicit consent, ex
