18th May Dick Whittington Park 5pm – 7pm Exclusive hire

We have hired out exclusive use of Dick Whittington’s Play Barn for our families to experience a more inclusive and accessible experience. The indoor play area is set in a large, heated barn, spacious and airy with no deafening echoes or squashed tables – there is ample space to spread out, stretch your legs and room to run around!

SkillZONE is Gloucestershire’s life-size safety village where learning to stay safe is never dull.

Experience home, fire, 999 and road safety scenarios and learn about making safer choices in different scenarios whether that is at home, while travelling or taking part in activities. Click here to find out more.

30th May MULTI-SPORTS DAY 10am til 3pm, @ Oxstalls Sport park

We have commissioned the brilliant YuGo to bring our families another jam-packed day of fun at Oxstalls Sports Arena! This is an event that is designed to be fully inclusive and accessible. We have exclusive use of the whole centre and there will be a RevoLOOtions changing places toilet available. 

There will be loads of inclusive sports activities available that can be adapted to suit needs! These include, Multi sports, Boccia, Magic carpet interactive games, mini-games that can be played as teams, individually or in pairs, End-ball, Soft-ball, Outside Astro-turf pitch for Football and Outdoor games and more! Gloucester Cricket disability section providing cricket skills and table cricket with their disability coaches! There will also be a sensory area available for our families to use.

There are vending machines on site, but parents and carers will need to bring a packed lunch for the children they are accompanying. WE ASK THAT YOU BRING NO PRODUCTS CONTAINING NUTS. There is plenty of free parking including disabled spaces.

The entry costs for disabled children, their siblings and their carers will be funded by the Alliance. Any additional adults attending will need to pay their own entry cost.
