A Day of Fun, Friendship & Community!

Get ready for an unforgettable summer day as we bring families together for our SEND Summer Celebration on Thursday, 20th August 2026, at The Rec, Dursley (GL11 4BJ)!

From 10:00am to 4:00pm, The Rec will be transformed into a vibrant, inclusive space filled with activities, laughter, and opportunities to connect. Whether your child loves being active, getting creative, or simply exploring at their own pace, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

At the heart of this event is our commitment to inclusion, connection, and creating opportunities for every family. We've designed the day to be relaxed, accessible, and enjoyable for children of all abilities, with dedicated sensory and creative spaces ensuring everyone can take part in their own way.

🍽️ Children registered with HAF will receive a free meal as part of the event - but you must be registered and book via HAF here

If you book via this event there will not be a free meal included.

Parking

Spaces available at the front of Rednock School, at Sainsbury's (3 hour limit), at Active Lifestyles Dursley (3 hour limit), at Long Street (23 hour limit), at Castle Street (1 hour limit). Alternatively there are roads without restrictions locally, please park responsibly and avoid blocking residents drives.

Transport to the event (in addition to timetabled bus services to Dursley)

Coach

Coach available from Cheltenham Bus Station at 9.30am, and GL1 at 09.50am. If you require a coach seat you must state this on the form - limited spaces.
