We are proud to announce the launch of our new alternative provision for children, young people, and families across Gloucestershire, designed for those who may have experienced barriers to education due to trauma, emotional distress, unmet needs, or challenges within mainstream settings.
At Flourish Learning Alliance, we believe every young person deserves to feel safe, understood, and empowered to thrive. Our provision has been created with a trauma-informed, therapeutic, and family-centred approach at its heart, offering compassionate, flexible support tailored to each individual journey.
We recognise that no two families are the same, which is why our support is highly personalised and built around connection, trust, and wellbeing.
Our provision includes:

One-to-one tutoring and flexible timetables

Therapeutic support including qualified “brick by brick” therapy

Sensory play and creative interventions

Qualified mental health peer support

Mentoring from disabled young adults with lived experience

Responsive EOTAS provision

Online learning with a qualified teacher
We support children and young people aged 5–25 years and are committed to helping them rebuild confidence, reconnect with learning, and rediscover their strengths, step by step, brick by brick.
As we begin this next chapter, we want to listen, learn, and grow alongside our community.
This provision is being developed through a “test and learn” approach, meaning we are actively seeking feedback from families, professionals, and young people to help shape what support is truly needed in Gloucestershire.

Flourish Learning Alliance has been established as a "test and learn" initiative, designed to develop and deliver the flexible, responsive support that is needed within the county.
Our approach enables us to provide highly individualised education packages and tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each young person. We work holistically with families, schools, and wider services to ensure that support is coordinated, effective, and focused on positive outcomes.
