Children's Wellbeing and Schools Bill
The Alliance has written to all Gloucestershire MPs to raise urgent concerns about the forthcoming Children and Wellbeing Bill, and to respectfully ask that you do not support the Bill in its current form when it comes before Parliament.

Our concerns stem from the lived experiences of hundreds of families. Even under the existing legislation, local authorities are routinely failing to meet statutory duties, needs assessments are delayed, essential provision is denied or reduced without lawful basis, and blanket policies overshadow individual decision-making. Families are forced into adversarial processes simply to secure the support their children are already entitled to.
