About the event
This lecture by Nigel Pugh MD Education Advocacy will be looking at the legal structure to Phase Transfer and the issues that can arise and how to deal with them.
We will also look at the implications of appealing to the Tribunal and what steps need to take place to make that come together in time for a Sept 25 placement.
Nigel has spent 30 years in the field of SEN law. Starting as a parent of 2 boys with SEN and taking them through the system, he has worked for national charities in a voluntary and paid capacity, worked for a legal aid solicitor, IPSEA as a paid caseworker and for the DRC under contact to IPSEA specialising in disability claims. He set up Education Advocacy in 2008 to provide experienced education law service to parents as an alternative to solicitors.
